The 2024 St John Horsfall Trophy race at Silverstone was amazing, we had 22 cars entered. The race was exciting all the way down the grid. Alan Middleton eventually took the spoils on scratch while Tom Wood in his first ever race won the St John Horsfall Trophy, well done to both! 2024 is the 75th anniversary of Jock Horsfall’s passing, and it was wonderful to see so many members of his family at Silverstone to watch the race, Mike Horsfall (Jock’s nephew) presented the Garland, Champagne and Winners Caps to the top 3 on scratch. Massive thanks to all the competitors for entering, the preparers, the BDC, the AMOC and everyone involved for making this event such a success. I hope we can make it an even bigger grid next year.
