Aston Martin Owners Club 90th Anniversary (Part 1)
On Thursday evening, we travelled to Saalfelden for the anniversary celebrations. There were many pleasant conversations at the bar. On Friday, we set off for the Grossglockner Pass. Unfortunately, we had to turn back before we reached it, as it had snowed on the pass for the first time and snow chains were now compulsory. The AMOC organisers quickly changed their plans and we drove from the Grand Hotel Lienz via Pass Thurn towards Kitzbühel to the Wilder Kaiser.
It was a fantastic trip with impressive Aston Martins. These included extremely rare vehicles such as the DB6 Shooting Brake. Back at the hotel, there was plenty of petrolhead talk over dinner. Tomorrow, the Autumn Concours will take place, as well as the Aston Martin display and the DB6 anniversary display.
A total of around 250 Aston Martins will gather at the Gut Brandlhof Hotel in Austria.
