Area 22 Calendar from June

Area 22 Rep Alan Richell | Published on 5/30/2026

Here’s the Area 22 Calendar going forward from June 2026.

The headline image is a late 19th Century painting by Frederic Leighton called, appropriately, Flaming June!

You will see a couple of changes from versions previously posted…

  1. We have moved “other” events up in to the main body of the Calendar. This makes it easier to see everything on a month-by-month basis which in turn will help decision making about what to attend
  2. There’s a key posted at the head of the Calendar to indicate how events are attributed.

Two big events have been and gone in May. The Whitby Endeavour went very well and if the weather didn’t exactly play ball the tourists certainly did with everyone reporting that a great time was had by all.

Then our visit to the Badminton Estate on a picture perfect day did indeed produce some perfect pictures and a feeling of great camaraderie as we welcomed members from other AMOC Areas too. Lunch at the feline monikered Cat & Custard Pot Inn afterwards rounded off a great day out.

Looking ahead we have monthly meetings at Stonehouse Court on 4th June and back at the Greyhound in Siddington on 2nd July.

Also in June we have Nick Mason’s Middlewick House on 6th for those signed up, and then on 5th July the Cotswold Caper in support of CALM. If you haven't signed up for this drive and picnic organised by the Glos. MGOC and to which we are specifically invited then please do so.

Finally for this forward view we look to August for our Rivals spotting tour and picnic at Chavenage House plus our first breakfast meeting on 29th at the Trouble House Inn nr. Tetbury.
