Cambridge Auctioneers, Cheffins, are organising an evening with Area 14 member and David Brown historian, Stuart Gibbard, who will give a talk entitled
" The Power Behind the Glory " exploring the links between tractors and sportscars focusing on the association between David Brown and Aston Martin.

The date is 7th August 2025 from 6.30pm at Cheffins Saleground, Sutton, Ely, Cambs CB6 2QT. Tickets are £20 per person and all proceeds will be donated to charity. Contact the auction team on 01353 777767 (opt 2) or email :- vintage@cheffins.co.uk

The event is being held as part of Cheffins pledge to give £200,000 to charity to mark the firm's 200 year anniversary. The money will be raised by a combination of fundraising events. match funding and donations. The majority of the fundraising efforts will go to support the new Cambridge Children's Hospital through Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT). With a minimum of £100.000 being raised for the hospital, Cheffins efforts will provide a dedicated playroom for children in treatment, in line with the company's goal to support mental health services for future generations in the region.
